I have found a way to get a high
that I have never had before.
It takes me beyond the clouds
and always wanting more.

 This high is even better when
it is shared with others.
I have enjoyed it by myself,
but more so with my brothers.

 The beautiful thing about this
high, is the cost has been paid.
I need not worry how I'll score
when I feel it starting to fade.

 The high is of a spiritual kind
that can only be gotten from one.
This one is God Almighty, who
paid the price with his only son.

 For the price that was paid, so
little is asked to get this high.
You must simply hear and obey.
It is nothing money could buy.

 Love is what causes this high,
though a love of a different kind.
Brought by a Holy Spirit, to which
there is only one way to find.

 The Holy Spirit comes to those
who hear the word and complies.
To all who believe, repent of
their sins, and are then baptized.

 I have tried other means, that
at the time seemed appealing.
Nothing this world offers comes
close to matching this feeling.
